KING ARTHUR BIOGRAPHY ~ DJ/Mixer

Breaking records is what Arthur Vigne, AKA King Arthur, is known for. One of the hottest mixers on ATL’s Super Station HOT 107.9 , Music Choice & a member of The World Famous Super Friends, King Arthur was born November 16, in New Orleans, LA, after which his parents relocated to Inglewood, CA, where he was raised.

It was at the early age of 12 when King Arthur knew that he wanted to be responsible for not only breaking records but also keeping the party goers on their feet while spinning at the club.  This young, ambitious and determined individual obtained his first job within the entertainment industry with 7 Oasis Entertainment, located in California. Here, the King Arthur-in-training was responsible for street and club promotions. As he stated, and I quote, “I had the streets on lock.” “Everyone knew me as the kid who was always passing out flyers and who had exclusive first dibbs on the hot new tracks before they were introduced to the streets.” It was, without question, that King-Arthur-in-the-making knew at that moment that he was destined to be one of the hottest DJ/mixers known to the world.

Transitioning from an adolescent to an adult, he was still determined to be the best DJ/mixer ever invented. After he made his name at 7 Oasis Entertainment with charm, it was time to turn the volume up. He began working for MCA Records; where he was the Radio/National Street coordinator. His day-to-day responsibilities included management of the National street teams, worked records at college radio, made sure that product was distributed to street teams across the nation. Once again, he made his mark and was ready to take on another venture.  This next venture landed King Arthur with Power 88 Las Vegas, Nevada as a mixer was he took charge and changed the game.

When he is not spinning on the one’s and two’s, whether it be in the club or on the radio, he is doing some of the things that allow him to relax and be Arthur Vigne. These things include attending amusement parks, playing slot car, and most importantly, spending quality time with his sons.  He is definitely an individual that has not stopped his journey within this industry. This is an individual that whenever your in the Atlanta area you want to make sure you look up. King Arthur spins on HOT 107.9 (M-F 12 Noon) & sister station WAMJ 102.5 (Fridays 7 to Midnight) in Atlanta and weekends on 94.1 The Beat Savannah Ga , Blazin 96 Macon Ga,and 105 Jamz Tulsa Ok. As stated earlier King Arthur is definitely without a question one of the hottest DJ/mixers in the world.
